How do I assign site placement for articles?

Site placement is driven by your taxonomy manager and is unique to every website.

Site placement determines where your content will appear. It may include assigning your article to appear on the homepage of your website, a section called breaking news or as the featured article. Site placement may also be set up to assign content to a particular location on a page such as the right rail.

1. To access your site placement taxonomy within the Article Manager, create or open an article under Editorial in the main navigation of your dashboard.

2. Scroll down about halfway until you see Site Placement.

3. Select where you want the article to appear on your website by clicking next to your preferred area. You may choose more than one.

This placement is based on your Taxonomy Manager and is unique to each website.

If you click on a link in the list, it will open more options.

4. When finished updating your article, Save.
