Dashboard Widget - Global Messaging

This dashboard feature (new January 2023) will let a user or an ePublishing Admin, display a message to everyone who logs into Continuum. This new feature:

  • Is controlled by System Setting dashboard.widget.message.enabled

    • Be sure the setting is set to true

  • Gets populated by Editorial Content area dashboard.global.message

    • Use the editor to create the message. Click Save and then check the Publish box to display

  • Uncheck the Publish box on the EC to stop displaying the message.

  • The timestamp displays the EC last updated time.
