How do I create a PDF of a newsletter issue?
This new feature creates a formatted PDF of all articles in a newsletter issue, making it easy to read offline or print the entire issue.
1. Create, populate and save your newsletter issue.

Layout options used for PDF generation

Name: pdf.ad.name
Value: This determines which ad will render in the newsletter PDF. The value entered is the name of the newsletter zone the ad is in. For example: newsletter.zone.2

Name: pdf.ad.position
Value: An integer that determines where the ad will render in the newsletter PDF. For example: 1 is position #1, 2 is position #2, etc.

Name: pdf.logo
Value: A file path of the header image to be used in the newsletter PDF. For example: /ext/resources/newsletter_logo.png
Editorial Content area used for PDF footer
The footer area in the newsletter PDF is rendered by an Editorial Content (EC) area. If the EC area does not exist, you will need to add a new EC area. The internal name is: newsletter.print.footer
- Editorial Content > newsletter.print.footer
- Update the body field with your footer content
- Publish and save the EC area
